Um...Heyyyy
It's been awhile...
My husband told me last night that he was browsing around on the 'old' blog I used to keep...Geesh. It's been a long time! Two years...
I must confess that since finding Facebook, I haven't really felt the need to blog...But it is really nice to go thru the years and years worth of pictures I have saved on here.
So...Here's an updated picture, for those of you NOT on my facebook feed. :)

So, alright now.
Yes, we are still here!
Our computer got a virus and has crashed. We were able to back up all our files and pictures, but we haven't been able to get the pictures up on our new computer yet. So, no blogging. I have LOTS of pictures to post, but it will have to be another time.
Nick is anxious to start middle school, Carmen is ready to go back and reunite with all of her friends in first grade and Luke is totally excited about going to kindergarten. Every morning he askes me how many more sleeps until he goes to school. For the next three years it will be just me and Mary home during the day! What will I do with all of that free time?
Hopefully I will have more pictures to post. I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Wax Museum
The wax museum is an event that Nick's school puts on. Each 5th grader is given (or pick) an historical character to portray. They have to study their character and be that character for the entire day. They stand still and when their button is pressed they have to recite whatever facts they have memorized. Each grade tours the museum and parents are allowed to come tour the museum also.
Here is what the wax characters look like:
Nick was Thomas Edison:

Mom and Daughter Day
Carmen and I recently participated in a Mom and Daughter girl scout event. It was Pop Star themed, and their were various activities. There was karaoke, and dancing, and a makeup room and a relaxation room and a couple of crafts. It was pretty neat.
Me and Carmen with our funky glasses. Mine obviously don't fit!

Carmen Finished Kindergarten!
Carmen had her end of the year awards last week, and I got a few pictures. I still don't know how to take good indoor shots with my camera..
Showing off her ribbons:
Getting her end-of-the-year award:

Posing with her kindergarten teacher: Mrs Reyes is AWESOME!! She was also Nick's kindergarten teacher for his first six weeks of school. I am crossing my fingers that Luke will get her next year. She has been teaching kindergarten for the last seven years, or so, and she has a true calling for this grade. Kinders are not easy!
Showing off her ribbons:
It is so hard to believe that Carmen's first year is already over! She has had an amazing year. She learned to read, to tie her shoes, to swim and to ride her bike!! She's all grown up!

Luke Graduates from Pre-K!
Luke's preschool puts on a big graduation ceremony for their pre-k program. It's held in the church sanctuary, and then there is a reception afterwards. The kids get to walk down the aisle to the traditional graduation song (can't remember the name of the song), they all get up to sing a few songs for their parents and then then get to go up on stage one by one to get their diploma. At the very end there is always a slide show of cute pictures taken thru out the year. It's a big tear jerker for me. :0)
Luke has been a part of this program since he was two, and he has loved every minute of it. It's a two day a week program at our church. It's a wonderful program, and has been a real blessing for Carmen and Luke. Mary starts in the fall!!
I am sad to see him graduate, but I'm very excited to usher him off to kindergarten in the fall. Luke asks almost every day how many sleeps until kindergarten!
Congratulations Luke!

Luke Turns FIVE!!
Holy Cow! My baby boy is FIVE!!
Here's Luke trying to bowl:
I asked Luke what he wanted to do for his birthday and his choice was either bowling or table tennis. (I blame the Wii!) Table tennis? So, he had a party at our local bowling alley.
We brought coloring sheets to keep the kids busy while they waited for there turn:
